Renee Pinckney Varn

Renee Pinckney Varn is a seasoned professional in video production and journalism, currently serving as a Senior Video Producer at the Obama Foundation since March 2019. Previously, Varn held the position of Associate Producer at CNN from June 2016 to August 2018, and prior to that, served as an Associate Producer for "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" at Harpo Productions/OWN from June 2013 to April 2015. Varn's experience also includes roles at NBCUniversal as a News Associate/Content Producer/Field Producer, a Press Assistant for Chicago Public Schools, and various internships at notable organizations such as WNDU-TV, Chicago Tribune Media Group, The New York Times, WTTW/Chicago PBS, and CBS Corporation. Varn holds a Master's degree in Communications/Journalism from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor's degree in Retail Management with a minor in Fashion Merchandising from the University of South Carolina.
