Te Pūoho Katene is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in social impact and investment. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Tapuwae Roa, a Māori charitable trust focused on sustaining Māori identity and promoting outcomes in education, knowledge systems, and leadership development, Te Pūoho also holds positions as Director at Armillary Private Capital and Chairperson of The Ākina Foundation, which supports social enterprise in New Zealand. Additional roles include Trustee at Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira Incorporated, Steering Committee Member for Future Food Aotearoa, and Obama Foundation Leader for the Asia-Pacific region. Te Pūoho has served as an Independent Director for both Waikato-Tainui and Wakatū Incorporation, advising on asset management and cultural integrity. Education includes a Master of Science in Management from Stanford University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Marine Biology and Māori Studies from Victoria University of Wellington.
