Sagnik Deb

Sagnik Deb has worked in various roles since 2017. In 2017, they were the Head of Data Acquisition and Powertrain Engineer at Pravega Racing, where they were involved in the design, development, and manufacture of a new powertrain system for an FSAE racecar with the KTM 390 engine, as well as the design, development, manufacture, and testing of an in-house built dyno for tuning and measuring engine power-torque curves. Sagnik was also the Testing Executive, in charge of managing the testing, tuning, and on-track development of the racecar. In 2019, they were a Summer Intern at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Currently, they are a Product Design Engineer at Oben EV, an electric vehicle and charging Infrastructure Company working on developing electric scooters and charging infrastructure in India and abroad.

Sagnik Deb completed a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology between 2016 and 2020. In addition, they obtained a Certified Solidworks Associate (CSWA) from Dassault Systèmes in November 2019 and a Certificate of Achievement-Participation in FSAE-A 2018 from Society of Automotive Engineers - Australasia in December 2018.
