Sameer Kumarr Goel

Sameer Kumarr Goel has a wealth of experience in the finance and business consulting fields. Sameer began their career in 2006 as a Senior Manager of Finance at Kohler Co. In this role they were responsible for setting up a successful business sales and distribution model for Kohler India, and was the project lead for the closure of a BOQ with landed rates. Sameer then moved to Borges International Group in 2010 as the Financial Controller (Head of Finance and Supply Chain). In 2013, they became the Vice President of Finance (CFO) at Eicher Polaris Pvt. Ltd., where they were responsible for managing the JV Board with the CEO and providing financial leadership. In 2015, they joined RS Seven Lifestyle (P) Ltd. as Group CFO and Consultant (overseeing ventures of MS Dhoni). In this role, they were responsible for steering four business verticals, including a movie production project. Sameer then moved to Exicom Tele-Systems Limited in 2016 as CFO, where they drove a three-fold growth and oversaw incentives approval/disbursement under the Make in India scheme. In 2019, they became Co-Founder of PeopleBuddy HCM and Chief Financial Officer cum Business Consultant at Okinawa Scooters. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing due diligence for PE funding, supply chain financing alternatives, and evaluating JV partnerships in the EV space. Sameer is currently a Non-Executive Board Member at TRAVOLIER.COM and is working on EV Consulting Projects. In 2022, they will begin their role as Director of Finance at Oben EV.

Sameer Kumar Goel began their education in 1979 at MONTFORT SCHOOL, where they studied Business/Commerce, General. Sameer then went on to receive their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from Delhi University in 1994. Following this, they obtained their Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in November 1998. Additionally, they have a Six Sigma & Controllership certification from GE Capital.
