Ben Rapkin

Benjamin Rapkin is currently a Machine Learning and Data Science Intern at Gurobi Optimization, responsible for developing an end-to-end case study for undergraduate students utilizing real-world disaster relief data. At Oberlin College, Benjamin serves as a Research Assistant, leading trials of extensive open multi-agent systems and evaluating the performance of various simulation methods. Additionally, Benjamin has experience as a Teaching Assistant and Lab Assistant, delivering lectures on systems programming and providing personalized tutoring in algorithms and data structures. Previous positions include a Technical Consultant role at Schneider Downs, a Researcher at Indiana University Bloomington focusing on optimizing graph structures and societal health using Reinforcement Learning, and a Linux and Windows Specialist at Community College of Allegheny County, where Benjamin streamlined processes through automation and managed significant technology roll-outs. Benjamin is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Economics at Oberlin College and participated in an exchange program in Artificial Intelligence at Singapore Management University.
