Zahra Rezaei

Zahra Rezaei is a research assistant at the University of Alberta in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, a position held since February 2025 under the supervision of Dr. Tabatabaei. Previous experience includes serving as a research assistant in the Cellular & Molecular Biology Lab at the University of Tehran from March 2023 to December 2024, under Dr. Inanloo, and completing a summer internship in the Bioengineering Department at EPFL from July to October 2023. Additionally, Zahra was a teaching assistant for the Principles of Cell and Molecular Biology course at the University of Tehran from September 2022 to January 2023, supervised by Dr. Habibi Rezaei. Zahra's earlier internship experiences include positions at the Pharmacology and Physiology Department and the Medical Biotechnology Department of the Pasteur Institute of Iran in the summer of 2022. Zahra holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biotechnology from the University of Tehran (September 2019 - February 2024) and a minor bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the same institution (September 2021 - July 2023).
