Susan Iler

Susan Iler is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Conservatory Communications at Oberlin College since October 2024 and as Editor of Shaker Life Magazine for the City of Shaker Heights since January 2024. Previously, Susan held various significant roles, including Content Consultant and Content Services Associate at Corporate Visions, Assistant Dean of Marketing and Communications at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, and Director of Marketing and Communications at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Additional experience includes leadership positions at the Cleveland Institute of Art and Case Western Reserve University, where Susan executed successful marketing strategies and branding initiatives. Early career experiences include grant writing at Great Lakes Theater and editorial work at Crossbridge Communications. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The Ohio State University.
