Andrew Silver has over 30 years of experience in the finance industry, with a focus on investment banking and advisory services. Andrew has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Managing Director at Oberon Securities, LLC since 2016. Prior to that, they served as Managing Director at Allegiance Capital Corporation from 2013 to 2016. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Managing Director at Star America Group, and from 2009 to 2010, they held the same position at Kamsky Associates. Before that, they were the Head of Building Products group at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin from 2007 to 2009 and a Managing Director at Morgan Joseph from 2001 to 2007. Andrew began their career at UBS Investment Bank in 1998 and also worked at Dillon Read and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Andrew holds extensive experience in M&A, financing, and advisory services for a range of industries.
Andrew Silver attended Harvard University from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (AB) degree in Government and East Asian Studies. Andrew then went on to attend Harvard Business School from 1980 to 1982, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In addition to their formal education, Andrew also holds certifications in FINRA series 7, 24, 63, and 79, which were obtained through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
