Angela Fitch MD, FACP, FOMA, Dipl. ABOM is currently the Chief Medical Officer at knownwell. Angela also holds the position of President at the Obesity Medicine Association and serves as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. With a background in both medicine and engineering, Angela has extensive experience in weight management programs and has held various leadership roles in prestigious healthcare organizations such as Massachusetts General Hospital and University of Cincinnati.

The Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) is the largest organization of clinicians dedicated to preventing, treating, and reversing the disease of obesity. Through unique, accredited educational resources, collaboration, and thought leadership, we continue to advance the practice of obesity medicine and deliver evidence-based treatments. We believe that sustained comprehensive, individualized treatment plans - improves overall health and provides hope for those affected by obesity. OMA members are physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare providers who take a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to treating obesity. This approach is comprised of nutrition, physical activity, behavior, and medication – OMA's four pillars.
