James Love

James Love is a seasoned patent attorney and Partner at Oblon, leading the Electrical/Mechanical practice group since September 2005. In addition to practice in intellectual property law, James serves as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School since August 2019. Prior experience includes a Summer Associate position at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia in 2004 and roles as a Software/Database Engineer at Barnhart and a Software Engineer at BNFL between 1998 and 2002. James holds a Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cedarville University, complemented by a summer study program in Nice, France.
