Anaid Benitez

Anaid Benitez is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in translational research and cancer biology. Currently serving as a Translation Scholar at The Francis Crick Institute, Anaid focuses on translating scientific discoveries into societal benefits, particularly in human disease prevention and treatment. Previous roles include Interim Translation Fellow and Project Research Scientist, where innovations in diagnostic platforms and molecular mechanisms were developed. With a strong academic foundation, including a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Miami and contributions as an advisor and co-chair at the Crick Science Entrepreneur Network, Anaid also engages in strategic board activities for OBN (UK) Ltd. and has a history of impactful roles in disaster relief coordination and community engagement.
