David Sherman

David Sherman is a seasoned engineer specializing in production, pipelines, and facilities within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Production Engineer at Obsidian Energy Ltd. since July 2021, David has previously held key positions, including Oil & Gas Development Engineer at Energy Innovators Inc. and LNG Process Engineer at GE, where David focused on improving operational efficiencies through data analytics and machine learning. David's extensive experience also includes senior engineering roles at Penn West and Apache Corporation, contributing to significant LNG feedstock developments and unconventional shale gas projects. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from the University of Victoria, obtained in 1999.
