Mark Hawkins

Mark Hawkins has a strong background in legal and corporate roles. Mark started their career at McCarthy Tétrault as an Associate from June 2005 to October 2010. Mark then joined Fasken Martineau DuMoulin as an Associate from October 2010 to March 2015. From March 2015 to November 2019, Mark worked at Obsidian Energy Ltd. (formerly Penn West Petroleum Ltd.) as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Currently, they hold the position of VP Legal, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Obsidian Energy Ltd.

Mark Hawkins attended the University of Victoria from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on International Business. Mark later graduated from the University of Alberta in 2005 with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
