Tyler Zerbe

Tyler Zerbe is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Obsidian Energy Ltd. since September 2021, focusing on the Pembina Cardium and Alberta Viking formations. Prior to this, Tyler held the position of Senior Geologist at Surge Energy Inc. from March 2011 to September 2021, where responsibilities included managing the Slave Point, Clearwater, and Granite Wash oil plays, as well as significant production growth in various geological formations. Earlier experience includes a role as a Geologist at Encana Corporation from November 2002 to March 2011, contributing to the Horn River Basin Shale Gas project and the Kakwa area tight gas development. Tyler began career with the Alberta Geological Survey and Precision Drilling, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Alberta.
