Simon Lutterbie

Simon Lutterbie has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Simon'scareer began at Oxford University, UK, where they were a Tutor in Social Psychology from 2008 to 2010. Simon then moved to the iOpener Institute for People and Performance as the Director of Research & IT Development from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, they founded and became the CEO of LTRBe Inc. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Frontend Engineer at Lastline, Inc. and then a Frontend Engineer at VMware from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they are the Frontend Team Lead and Senior UX Engineer at Obsidian Security, where they lead a high-performing team across 8 timezones and 3 continents. Simon has also coordinated the implementation of modern tooling and trained colleagues on their use.

Simon Lutterbie completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Mathematics from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 2006. Simon then earned a D.Phil. in Social Psychology from the University of Oxford in 2010. In 2018, they attended Thinkful for a full-stack web development course, covering HTML/CSS, Javascript, Node, Express, React, and MongoDB. Simon is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computers and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania, which they began in 2021. Simon has also completed a Leadership Burbank program.
