Michelle Masek

Michelle Masek has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in marketing, communications, and public relations. Michelle is currently the SVP of Marketing & Communications at Obvious Ventures since November 2023. Before that, they founded their own company, Good Nature Ventures, in October 2019. Michelle also has experience as the VP of Marketing at Brightseed from January 2022 to December 2023 and as the Head of Marketing & Communications at Apeel from November 2016 to October 2019. Additionally, they have held roles at Imgur, Eventbrite, Lookout, SHIFT Communications, Ketchum Public Relations, and The Arizona Republic, where they worked in various marketing, communications, and writing positions. Michelle has established PR programs, led marketing campaigns, and built brand functions from scratch. Michelle has demonstrated expertise in creating and executing strategies, driving media coverage, and delivering successful PR and marketing initiatives.

From 2005 to 2009, Michelle Masek attended Arizona State University - Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where they pursued a degree in Journalism & Public Relations.
