James Tennefoss has a work experience spanning over 25 years. James started their career as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician with the United States Air Force in 1995. James later took on the role of Safety Representative within the same company in August 2011. After working with the air force for over two decades, they transitioned to Lockheed Martin in November 2017, where they worked as an Aircraft Technician 4 until June 2020. Currently, they are working as an Acquisition Analyst at OBXtek since October 2020.

James Tennefoss has a strong background in aviation and aeronautics. James obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a renowned institution, in the years 1997 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended the Community College of the Air Force from 1995 to 2001, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Applied Science. James continued their education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and completed an Undergraduate Course in Aviation Safety from 1997 to 1999.

In 2015, James pursued further studies and obtained a Master's degree in Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, completing their education in 2017. This advanced degree further solidified their expertise and knowledge in aviation safety.

Additionally, James Tennefoss has acquired a teaching certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from The TEFL Org | Market Leading Provider Of Courses To Teach English As A Foreign Language in July 2020. This certification showcases their passion for education and their commitment to expanding their skills beyond the aviation industry.
