Rommuelle Gatongay

Rommuelle Gatongay has a diverse work experience in the defense industry. Rommuelle started their career in 1994 as an Electronic Technician in the United States Marine Corps, where they received extensive training in basic electronic repair. In 2002, they transitioned into the role of an Air Command & Control Officer, managing Marine-controlled airspace and leading a team. Rommuelle also served as a Training Manager, overseeing the delivery of air defense and airspace management curriculum to over 350 students.

Moving on to acquisitions, Gatongay worked as an Acquisitions Project Officer for a multimillion-dollar acquisition program in the US Marine Corps from 2011 to 2014. Rommuelle supervised the acquisition of an automated information system and developed acquisition strategies and plans for future systems. Rommuelle then joined Client Solution Architects in 2015 as an Acquisitions Consultant, supporting a multi-billion dollar acquisition program for the US Navy.

In 2018, Gatongay joined OBXtek as a Common Data Link Executive Agent Support, where they provided support to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition. Their responsibilities included budget preparation, defense planning, program execution, and oversight efforts for the Common Data Link Executive Agent.

Rommuelle Gatongay obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from the University of Arizona between 1998 and 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, from Western Governors University from 2012 to 2014.
