Michael Ribbe

Michael Ribbe currently serves as the Head of Group Operational Sustainability & HSE at Oerlikon since February 2015, following a distinguished career in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) roles. Previously, Michael held the position of Vice President EHS EMEA at Schneider Electric from August 2010 to February 2015, where responsibilities included managing EHS across approximately 150 industrial sites and 60,000 employees. His prior experience includes serving as EHS Director globally at AREVA T&D, with full responsibility for EHS across 89 sites and a workforce of 30,000, as well as overseeing EHS for service activities. Earlier in the career, Michael worked at ALSTOM T&D as Production Manager, managing the production of medium voltage equipment, and began as a Production Engineer at AEG T&D. Michael holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Darmstadt.
