Ram Angara

Ram Angara is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in leadership roles, currently serving as Vice President of Information Technology at Oerlikon since September 2011, where responsibilities include IT strategy, business alignment, project management, and team development. Prior to this, Ram held the position of Director of IT at Furniture Brands International and Thomasville Home Furnishings, focusing on SAP ERP implementation and operational excellence. Early career highlights include consulting roles at BearingPoint and independent consultancy, specializing in SAP ERP services, as well as a foundational position in supply chain management at a major manufacturing and distribution company. Ram holds a Master of Science in Business from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, obtained between 1982 and 1984.
