Joel S. Horwitz

Joel S. Horwitz is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in the fashion industry, currently serving as Co-Founder of OCA - Our Creative Agency since December 2024 and Advisory Board Member at SDBI since February 2023. Previously, Joel held the position of Design Director at FILA Europe, leading a design team across various segments, including apparel, accessories, and footwear, and implementing innovative design processes utilizing AI software. Joel's career also includes roles as Lead Designer and Consultant, Head of REVIEW Womens/Menswear at Peek & Cloppenburg, and Senior Lead Designer at Zalando SE, where expertise in brand storytelling and strategic direction has been demonstrated. Additional experience encompasses design positions at adidas and J.LINDEBERG, as well as academic contributions as a tutor at Universität der Künste Berlin. Joel holds a Diplom in Industrial and Fashion Design from Universität der Künste Berlin and a degree in Womenswear Tailoring from Vera Beckers Education College.
