Steve Dunkley

Steve Dunkley is a seasoned engineering professional with significant experience in leadership roles within the technology and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at Ocado Technology since February 2023, Dunkley has held various key positions at Ocado Group since July 2019, including Head of Product Application Engineering and Product Engineering Manager. Prior roles include Automation Realisation & Central Engineering Manager at Ocado Engineering, Business Development Director at PCL Ceramics Ltd, and Engineering Project Team Leader at Caterpillar Inc. Dunkley's engineering career began in the British Army, where various officer roles included serving in the Royal Logistics Corps and Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers. Dunkley holds an MEng in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University, as well as an MBA in Technology Management and PGCerts from The Open University.
