David Smith

David Smith has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. David started their career at BICC plc in 1993 as a Senior Software Engineer and later joined MM Cables Pty in 1998 in the same position. In 1999, they moved on to work at Lucent Technologies, CSG Systems, and Kenan Systems as an Architect/Domain Lead. From 2003 to 2014, they worked at Cartesian Ltd as a Software Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Ocado Technology, where they have held multiple roles including Team Leader (Webshop Grocery), Engineering Team Lead OSP Checkout, and currently as the Engineering Team Lead OSP Product Discovery.

David Smith attended Queens Park High School from 1984 to 1989 but did not receive a degree or study a specific field. David later studied Software Engineering at the University of Birmingham from 1989 to 1992, earning a 2:2 degree.
