Jacquiline Train has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Jacquiline started their career at CGI in 2012 as an Ada95 Software Developer, where they primarily worked on developing and testing bespoke software. Jacquiline also gained experience in C++ and took introductory courses in Java. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Misys as a Java Software Engineer, where they served as a scrum master and worked on a high-profile integration project. Jacquiline utilized Agile methodology, developed financial solutions using Java, and maintained test environments. In 2016, they joined Ocado Technology as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to replatforming mobile applications and backend logic using RESTful APIs. Jacquiline developed using Java and actively contributed to the development of the Android app in Kotlin and the Swift/Objective C code for iOS platforms. Jacquiline was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer and then to Engineering Team Lead (Mobile), taking on more organizational aspects and mentoring teammates. In their most recent role at Ocado Technology, they served as the Engineering Team Lead (Assortment), focusing on building a capable and confident team and providing high-quality solutions. Throughout their career, they have been dedicated to code quality, implementing quality gates, and automating code checks and analysis.

Jacquiline Train graduated from the University of Plymouth with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Queen Mary's College from 2007 to 2009. Jacquiline completed their high school education at Fort Hill Community School from 2002 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications such as New Relic Certified Performance Pro from New Relic, Inc. in October 2018 and ICAgile Certified Professional from ICAgile in 2017.
