Patricia van der Hoek

Patricia van der Hoek is a seasoned professional in UX research and design with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as a UX Researcher at Ocado Technology, Patricia conducts continuous discovery research to enhance user experiences for online grocery platforms, while also coordinating sailing courses at Sailstar. Previously, as a UX Writer at Lifesum, Patricia was responsible for user-centric in-app content, and at Qred AB, managed UX writing and developed a content style guide. Earlier roles include UX/UI design and user research positions at Arkus AI and EdAider, as well as UX research at Hedvig. Patricia's teaching background includes a decade of experience at The Viktor Rydberg Schools Foundation as a high school teacher of English and Chinese. Academically, Patricia holds multiple degrees in UX design, education, and language studies from institutions such as Stockholm University and Jilin University.
