Mary Lu, LMFT, currently serves as Program Director at OCAPICA, where previous roles included Program Manager, Clinician, and Rehabilitation Services Coordinator since May 2019. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Christ's Church of the Valley, providing over 300 hours of therapy for various mental health diagnoses. Mary Lu's background also encompasses roles as a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee at the City of Claremont, a Human Services Leader supervising adolescents, and a Behavioral Interventionist at California Psychcare. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Hope International University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UCLA.

The Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance, Inc. (OCAPICA) was established in 1997 with the mission to build a healthier and stronger community by enhancing the well-being of Asians and Pacific Islanders through inclusive partnerships in the areas of service, education, advocacy, organizing, and research. These community-driven activities seek to empower Asians and Pacific Islanders to define and control their lives and the future of their community.
