Grissel Blackmon

Grissel Blackmon is the Senior Legal & Medical Advocate at Resilience, where they have supported survivors of sexual violence since 2016. Grissel has a robust background in the legal field, collaborating with institutions like the Cook County State’s Attorney Office and the Chicago Police Department. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology and the Study of Women and Gender from Dominican University and are currently pursuing Paralegal Studies at Loyola University Chicago. Grissel is committed to empowering others through an intersectional feminist lens.
