Varun Ebenezer is an experienced leader in enterprise risk management and technology. Currently serving as Director and Principal of Enterprise Risk Management - Technology at OCC since July 2022, Varun previously held the position of Assistant Vice President and Head of IT Audit at Kemper from March 2020 to July 2022. Prior to that, Varun worked at BMO Financial Group in various roles from November 2014 to March 2020, including Director of US Technology & Operations Governance. Varun's career began with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as an IT Auditor and includes experience as a Conflicts Analyst at DLA Piper and Program Manager at Best Buddies Illinois. Varun holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
