Colin Lyons

Colin Lyons is an experienced professional in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and quality assurance, currently serving as an ILS, Config, and Quality Assurance Officer for OCCAR since October 2021. Prior experience includes an ILS Engineer role at Defence Equipment & Support from January 2018 to October 2021 and an ILS Engineering Consultant position at Jacobs Technology from September 2014 to January 2018. Colin began a career in the UK Ministry of Defence as an Equipment Support Manager from June 2013 to May 2014 and spent several years in various roles, including LSM at Integrated Survivability Technologies Limited and Subject Matter Expert (REME) within the MOD. Colin's military background includes service as a Vehicle Engineer in HM Forces for over two decades. Educational qualifications include an HNC in Engineering from SEME (1998-1999) and attendance at Gransha Boys High School (1979-2004). Notable achievements include developing ILS processes for ISO 9001:2008 accreditation and ensuring high equipment availability for military operations.
