Pelle ten Cate

Pelle ten Cate began their work experience in 2001 as a Sales Representative and Web Developer at Van Hove electronica B.V. Pelle then went on to work as a Lead Engineer and Co-founder at Netsolute, where they developed a customized online ticketing and back-office management suite. In 2006, Pelle became a Consulting Software Architect at Technoot and continued in that role until 2018. During this time, they also co-founded and served as the Chief Architect for Occasion, a position they held until 2020. Pelle then joined Eljakim Information Technology bv as a Software Engineer, where they created an end-to-end application framework. In 2020, they returned to Occasion as a Technology Advisor and Co-founder. Most recently, Pelle worked at Vinebase as a Staff Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for planning, designing, and building a wine knowledge database and marketplace app using Ruby on Rails. Presently, Pelle is working as a Technology Advisor and Co-founder at Occasion.

Pelle ten Cate received their VWO degree in Natuur en Techniek from Het Nieuwe Eemland in the years 1997 to 2003. Pelle then pursued a B.Mus. degree in Art of Sound (Music technology - Recording - Producing) from Koninklijk Conservatorium - Royal Conservatoire from 2004 to 2009.
