Alejandro Aguirre

Alejandro Aguirre, LMFT, APCC, serves as the Director of Counseling Services at Occidental College since July 2023 and also holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology since June 2021. Previously, Alejandro worked as a Staff Clinician at Loyola Marymount University's Student Psychological Services, providing cultural and bilingual therapy to students. Alejandro has experience in private practice as a Clinical Therapist, offering therapeutic services to individuals and families. Prior roles include Forensic Clinician at Gateways Hospital, Care Coordinator at Beacon Health Options, and Mental Health Professional at Pilsen Wellness Center. Alejandro holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside.
