Nathan Lockett

Nathan Lockett is an experienced educational leader and entrepreneur with a strong background in college admissions, counseling, and digital education. Currently serving as the Founder & CEO of The Ezra Initiative since August 2020, Nathan focuses on developing and managing educational HR benefit programs. In addition, Nathan has been an Admissions Reader for Occidental College since December 2019 and previously held similar roles at UC Berkeley. Nathan’s extensive counseling experience includes leadership positions at Georgetown Preparatory School, CollegeBound Initiative, and Democracy Prep Public Schools, where Nathan developed college access programming for underrepresented students and supported the college admissions process. Holding a B.A. in Education and History from SUNY Geneseo and an M.S. in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from the University at Albany, Nathan combines educational expertise with a commitment to accessibility in higher education.
