Angel Santos

Angel Santos is a seasoned drilling professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Drilling Manager at Oxy since July 2011, Angel has held various senior roles including Operations Manager and Senior Drilling Advisor for significant projects with Groupement Berkine and ADNOC Drilling. Prior experience includes serving as Drilling Manager at Maersk Oil from November 2008 to June 2011 and holding multiple positions at Total E&P from September 1990 to November 2008, where responsibilities included leading the Drilling and Well Services department in both Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. Angel also contributed as a Long Term Development Engineer during a secondment to SINCOR in Venezuela, showcasing a diverse skill set in drilling engineering and operations management. Educational background includes studies at ENSCM from 1987 to 1990.
