Carlos Felipe Finol-Leon, MBA, currently serves as the Sr. Staff Production Operations Engineer at Oxy since September 2023. Prior to this role, Carlos held several positions at Vital Energy from May 2013 to September 2023, including Senior Production Engineer and Production Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed managing production curves, optimizing equipment selection, and overseeing workover rig operations. Carlos also served as a Completions Supervisor, focusing on maintaining safety practices during well completion operations. Carlos holds an MBA from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas Permian Basin, complemented by an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lone Star College.
