Gabriel Cozart

Gabriel Cozart is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in petroleum geology and geotechnical support. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Sabine Oil & Gas since April 2017, Gabriel specializes in the Eastern Business Unit, focusing on the East Texas Basin, including the Haynesville Shale, Bossier Shale, and Cotton Valley Sands. Prior roles include Geologist II at Sabine Oil & Gas, as well as positions at Peregrine Petroleum as a Senior Geological Technician and Junior Geologist, where Gabriel contributed to projects across the Permian, Williston, and Anadarko Basins. Additionally, Gabriel has experience from Breitburn Energy and Quantum Resources Management, LLC, and began a career in technical support at Exer-Tech. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology from Sam Houston State University, earned in 2013.
