John Tate Hamilton

John Tate Hamilton, CISM, currently serves as an Aviation Operations Specialist for Oxy since June 2023. Prior to this role, John held various positions at Air Methods from February 2021 to June 2023, including Director of Flight and Ground Safety, Regional Safety Director, and Safety Assurance Auditor, focusing on the development of Flight Safety Programs and compliance with safety regulations. Before Air Methods, John was a Sr. Safety and Quality Assurance Advisor at Era Helicopters, and served as an OH-58D Helicopter Pilot and Tactical Operations Officer in the United States Army, where responsibilities included the safe operation of rotary wing aircraft and personnel training. John holds degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and McNeese State University, and began professional experience as a Process Operator at GT Industries.
