Melanie McMahan

Melanie McMahan is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in financial systems innovation and process excellence, currently serving as Director of Finance Systems Innovation & Process Excellence at Occidental since April 2019. Prior to this role, Melanie held various supervisory and advisory positions at BHP from October 2009 to April 2019, overseeing teams and managing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance for the Petroleum business. Previous experience includes managerial roles at Oxy, where responsibilities encompassed financial accounting and reporting, as well as a role as Sr. Tax Analyst at Enron. Melanie holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from Louisiana Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the College of the Ozarks.
