Samrat Riki Mahato is an experienced Production/Operations Engineer with a robust history at Occidental since 2013, focusing on production and injection wells in the Permian Basin. As a key member of the Asset Development Team, Samrat has enhanced field profitability through detailed analyses of well economics, established best practices for maintenance, and optimized well enhancement programs. Previous roles include Well Performance Specialist and Drilling Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed day-to-day operations, well performance monitoring, and oversight of drilling activities while ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols. Prior to Occidental, Samrat held managerial positions at Techniques International Corp and Perks, LLC, showcasing strong leadership and operational management skills. Samrat holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans.
