Vikas Kumar

Vikas Kumar is an experienced reservoir engineer with a robust background in petrophysics and reservoir management across multiple companies in the petroleum industry. Currently serving as an Advisor Reservoir Engineer at Oxy since March 2022, Vikas previously worked at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and BP, where expertise included real-time data acquisition, pore pressure prediction, and seismic rock properties analysis. Vikas's industry experience extends to significant roles at Weatherford and Reliance Industries Limited, focusing on simulation and optimization of offshore fields and the construction of static models. Vikas holds an M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.
