Oleg Kazmin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Oleg started their career as a Junior Researcher at the Institute of Mechanics MSU in 2009. During this time, they were involved in developing a system for automatic parallelization of C++ programs and optimizing and parallelizing a supercomputer model for neutron processes in a nuclear power plant reactor.
In 2014, Oleg joined LLC Experimental Laboratory NaukaSoft as a Researcher. Here, they played a lead role in designing and developing a mobile system for quality control of aircraft power supply systems. Additionally, they were part of a team that developed an inertial navigation system, where their focus was on system programming.
In 2017, Oleg joined GeoCV as an R&D Engineer. Oleg was responsible for developing software for 3D interiors scanning, with emphasis on mesh processing, SLAM, pose estimation using visual fiducial system, and camera calibration.
Most recently, Oleg joined Occipital in 2019 as a CV Engineer. Further details about this role are not provided.
