Occupational Cancer Research Centre
Molly Hutchinson is currently a Practicum Student at the Occupational Cancer Research Centre, contributing since January 2025. Previously, Molly served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute from June 2023 to December 2024 and worked as a Qualitative Research Specialist for the Ontario Association of Residents' Councils during the summer of 2024. Earlier experience includes a position as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Carleton University in 2022, a Student role at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada from May 2021 to May 2022, and serving as a Page at the House of Commons of Canada from August 2019 to August 2020. Molly Hutchinson is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Toronto, expected to complete in December 2025, and holds a Bachelor of Global and International Studies with a minor in neuroscience and mental health from Carleton University, earned in 2023. Educational background includes attendance at Lisgar Collegiate Institute from 2015 to 2019.

Occupational Cancer Research Centre (OCRC) is a research centre dedicated to the study of occupational disease. OCRC is based at Ontario Health and also receives funding from the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, the Ontario Ministry of Health, and competitive grants.
