Julie Godfrey, MS, GSP, is an experienced professional in environmental health and safety management. Currently serving as a HAZWOPER Trainer at HAZMAT Academy since September 2024 and as a Senior Industrial Hygienist at Occupational Services, Inc. since November 2021, Julie also holds the position of Department Chair at Cuyamaca College since July 2016, where responsibilities include full-time faculty duties for the Department of Environmental Health and Safety Management. Previous roles include Research Associate at California State University San Marcos and Environmental Health and Safety Manager at the University of San Diego, along with ownership positions at CJH, LLC, and Horn Auto Cash for Cars. Julie's foundational experience includes consulting at GEOCON and serving as a Bioenvironmental Engineering Journeyman in both the United States Air Force and the Air Force Reserve. Julie holds a Master of Science in Environmental Safety and Health from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from San Diego State University.
