Katherine Rovinski

Katherine Rovinski possesses extensive experience in marine and ocean-related fields, currently serving as a contractor for both IBSS and Ocean Associates, Inc., while also working as a VCC intern at NOAA since October 2018. Previously, Katherine contributed as a volunteer deckhand and educator on the Schooner Adventuress and as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy, where responsibilities included program management and supervision of maintenance operations. Earlier roles included deckhand positions with Ingram Barge Company and Entertainment Cruises Inc. Katherine holds a Master of Arts in Infrastructure Planning and Management from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Maine Maritime Academy.
