John Glade has a diverse work experience in the banking and business brokerage industry. John began their career at Citibank in 1985, working in various roles at Citicorp Diners Club and Citibank. John then moved to American Savings of Florida in 1992, where they served as Vice President of Mortgage Lending. In 1997, they joined First NLC Financial Services as a Vice President. In 1998, they became President and Principal Broker of Goldcrest Commercial Business Brokers, where they sold privately-owned businesses in Florida and served as the President of the Florida Business Broker Association's South Florida Chapter. In 2006, they joined BankUnited as a Senior Vice President until 2010. Currently, they hold the position of SVP - Strategic Partner at Ocean Bank, starting in 2010.

John Glade has a strong educational background with a focus on finance and operations. John obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1983 to 1985. Prior to their M.B.A., they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance at Illinois State University from 1981 to 1983.

John Glade also attended Providence Catholic High School from 1975 to 1979, where they completed their high school education.
