Manuel del Cañal

Manuel del Cañal, CPA, has extensive experience in the banking and wealth management sectors. Currently serving as EVP and Head of Wealth Management at Ocean Bank since July 2013, Manuel also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at both Ocean Financial Services, LLC, and Ocean Financial Advisors since August 2014 and March 2018, respectively. Prior to these roles, Manuel accumulated significant experience at BankUnited from 2004 to July 2013 in various senior vice president positions, including Business Banking Manager and International Private Banking. Additional prior experience includes key roles at SunTrust Bank from 1989 to 2004 and earlier positions at Barnett Bank and Professional Savings Bank. Manuel holds a Master's Degree in Tax Accounting and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and International Business from Florida International University, along with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Miami Dade College.
