Mark Cason

Mark Cason is a seasoned professional in government relations with extensive experience advocating for conservation and public policy initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Government Relations at Ocean Conservancy since September 2021, Mark Cason effectively builds relationships with Congress and the Administration to promote ocean conservation efforts. Prior roles include Senior Government Relations Representative at The Conservation Fund, where legislative efforts focused on preserving federal funding for land conservation and wildlife habitats, as well as Government Affairs Manager at the American Society of Landscape Architects and Government and Public Affairs Manager at the Society for Neuroscience. Earlier in Mark Cason's career, positions in the United States House of Representatives involved managing significant legislative portfolios. Mark Cason holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy from New England College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University.
