Shana Brown

Shana Brown is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in resource development and proposal management within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Senior Portfolio Manager for Foundation & Government Support at Ocean Conservancy since 2019, Shana has a proven track record of securing funding through strategic partnerships and successful proposal bids, previously holding the role of Business Development Manager at Population Council (2014 - 2019) where responsibilities included overseeing a significant number of bids and managing multidisciplinary teams. Shana's career also includes positions as Senior Resource Development Officer at the International Partnership for Microbicides (2011 - 2014) and Associate Director of Development at the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (2006 - 2011).
