Navneet Khinda is a Senior Manager of Global Strategy at Ocean Energy Pathway since November 2023, focusing on sustainable offshore wind markets globally. Prior experience includes roles as Manager of Offshore Wind & Ocean Energy Pathway and Researcher at the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), where Navneet researched wind energy misinformation narratives. In the public sector, Navneet served as Senior Policy Advisor at the Treasury Board of Canada, leading digital services projects during the pandemic, and as Policy and Regional Advisor to Canada's Minister of Natural Resources, managing forestry and renewable energy programs. Previous positions include Policy Advisor to Canada’s Minister of Infrastructure and Policy Researcher at the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada. As President of the University of Alberta Students' Union, Navneet led an $11 million organization and engaged in advocacy for 30,000 students. Educational credentials include an MSc in Energy and Climate Policy from the University of Sussex and a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of Alberta.

Ocean Energy Pathway accelerates the global clean energy transition by unlocking the immense resource of offshore wind power. We deliver programmes in new markets offering structured technical assistance to support governments, industry, and civil society to fast-track the deployment of sustainable offshore wind projects. Our Mission Offshore wind is changing the world. Through practical, delivery-focused implementation, Ocean Energy Pathway turns climate ambition into action. OEP will rapidly scale the development of offshore wind globally by 2030, helping to create 10+ new markets and contributing to the 2TW of installed offshore wind needed by 2050 to keep the world on track to 1.5 degrees of warming. OEP is an independent affiliate of the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC).
