Kathrine Jung

Kathrine Jung is a seasoned professional at the LEGO Group, serving as Sr Director and Head of Global Workplace Projects in China since July 2006. In this role, Kathrine oversees a significant 1.6 billion DKK expansion program at the China factory, directing the construction of various facilities. Previous positions at the LEGO Group include Confidentiality Director for Leak Incident Management, Director of Elements & Moulds Validation, and Director of TED Innovation and Element Quality, where Kathrine managed critical quality and innovation functions. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Planning Manager, Senior Master Data Consultant, Senior Logistics Analyst, and Project Planner, showcasing a diverse background in production, planning, and data management. Kathrine holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Aalborg University and began professional endeavors as a final thesis student at the university, focusing on lean optimization. Additionally, a trainee experience at LEGO Schweiz AG involved material planning for production operations.
