Jemma Sargeant

Jemma Sargeant is a Marine Science Officer at Ocean Generation since September 2023, previously serving as a Research Assistant and Divemaster at the Institute for Marine Research from March to June 2023, where contributions included data collection for the Dauin Long-Term Reef Monitoring Project and enhancing scientific knowledge of coral reef ecosystems. Jemma has also held the position of Youth Ambassador for both the United Nations Association - Climate and Oceans and the United Nations Association - UK from February 2021 to June 2022, focusing on advocating for youth voices in policy discussions at various conferences. Jemma holds a Master of Science in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of Southampton, achieved in 2022.
